I won a competition

I entered I Made This Competition held at the Future Fashion Now event in St Kilda, Melbourne, showcasing Melbourne fashion designers, suppliers, and crafty-persons that apply environmental/ethical principles to their creations.

I entered a few of my recycled craft projects, but it was my plastic bottle cuffs that won the prize

What did I win? Vouchers to do a course, Craft Victoria membership, and membership for the Resource Rescue Inc, a place for 'eco-friendly art materials'. Hooray!

Also worth mentioning are the two other competition winners.

A zipper brooch which was coincidentally made by a friend of mine

A tweed skirt, transformed into a capelet, made by Katrina in NZ that blogs over at OffSquare

  1. Huge congrats how good must you feel?I also tried clicking that Offsquare link but it didnt work xx

  2. Nelly - it is a great feeling! Thanks for letting me know about the link, I fixed it

  3. You're a very talented lady, you deserve it all. Thanks for the mention too :)

  4. Well done, although totally deserved! Love those cuffs, it is such a great idea. I like it when good things happen to good people, enjoy your prize :)
